Tendon and Cartilage Repair
Any damage to the tendon or cartilage can be painfully incapacitating. Tendon and cartilage injuries are the most common copponents in holding you back from life’s activities. Though there are surgical interventions available, they can cause more damage and the results are not guaranteed. Amniotic stem cell therapy is a non-surgical approach to damaged tendons and cartilage.
Amnio therapy improves tendon and cartilage repair by releasing essential growth factors. The growth factors include cytokines, amino acids (needed to make protein), hyaluronic acid, and extracellular matrix proteins. These proteins help recruit your body’s own stem cells to the injured site. Once they accumulate, they promote tissue regeneration at the injury site.
Our process is completed by using a precise, image-guided insertion of a liquid allograft to the damaged area. The liquid consists of amnion and amniotic fluid apparatuses that endorse stem cell growth. After the procedure, the allograft will create a wound biomaterial that will encourage rapid and natural healing of your damaged tendons or cartilage.
